Milan Vujović, architect (52) was born in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1971.

He studied architecture at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade (1990-1997) where he graduated and gained his diploma with the highest recommendations.

Since 2000 he is employed at the Faculty of Architecture (University of Belgrade), at first as the Assistant (2000-2005), and afterwards as the Assistant Professor (since 2005) and Professor (since 2016)

At present, he is acting as the Professor at the Department for Architecture, covering the Master studies (the Courses M5, M6 and M9). He is also the Mentor of Studio (head of Studio-project). His basic teaching subject title is: Architecstural design.

Milan Vujović is, besides the engagement in the education and teaching, the architect who is (since 1993) practicing both: the architectural design and the permanent development of his architectural skills. Now, he has already more than twenty years of experience in the architectural designing.

As the author or as the architect in charge (usually both), working alone or being the member of different design teams, he realized more than twenty of his architectural projects. (23)

He gained the professional license in 2003. He is the member of the Serbian Chamber of Engineers.

He is the member of the professional associations: DAB, UAS, ASA, UIA.

Milan Vujović was the co-founder of the Architectural studio Balans, which has been working between 2007 and 2015.

At the same time, he participates at numerous architectural competitions, in Serbia and abroad. Till now, he won there more than twenty-five awards and mentions.

Main subject of his interest in the architectural design varies from dwellings and individual housing to retail, business, sport, commercial, mixed use and complex urban themes, with the particular focus on buildings with complex typology and hybrid structures.

His theoretical work is based on varies topics (themes) such as: Architectural typology, Architectural composition, Architectural structure, etc.

In 2010 he published the book: Form "presumes" function - Architectural composition of an airport terminal, Legacy Andrejevic, Belgrade, 2010.

In 2016 he published the book: MONO, Faculty of architecture, Belgrade, 2016.

His works and projects were published at numerous architectural magazines such as: Wettbewerbe aktuell, А10 new European architecture, SAJ, KvadART, Genius Domus, Forum+, DaNS, Kvart, A10 ... The total number of appearances is more than thirty.

His works and projects were published at two international monograph editions related on architectural design: RESTART- Architecture in Bosnia and Herzegovina 1995- 2010, р. 304-305 and Contemporary Green Architecture in China and Serbia, p.188-193 His works and projects were exhibited at three individual and more than thirty collective exhibitions in Serbia and abroad (USA, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Spain, Albania, Croatia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Russia, Italy...)

He gained numerous awards for his fork. Most significant one was: The Belgrade city award for the best architectural realised project in 2013.

One of his realised projects was nominated in national selection to represent Serbia at European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award. The entry was published at CATALOGUE 420. Shortlisted & Nominees and 5+1.Winners & Finalists 2015 www.miesarch.com

Since 2013. he is teaching as a guest professor at the Polytehnic faculty, UDG, Podgorica, Montenegro.

In 2020 he founded architecture studio ASMV. Since than, studio participated in numerous competitions and projects.
